Webacy Leverages Walrus Technology to Build Onchain, Risk Analysis Decisioning Layer

Webacy teams up with Walrus to bring safer, smarter decisioning onchain.

Webacy, a digital trust and safety platform for Web3, has announced its selection of Walrus, the decentralized storage platform, in its efforts to build a next-generation decisioning platform for digital assets.

It’s no secret that billions of dollars are stolen from crypto platforms every year, alongside the millions lost in phishing attacks, rug pulls, and other scams. Webacy APIs, aptly named DD.xyz, provide end users with a safe onchain experience, and now, through its selection of Walrus, will decentralize its digital asset scoring tools, wallet scoring, and smart contract analysis tools.

This partnership will allow Webacy to store and manage large volumes of decisioning data entirely onchain, including token analysis, wallet behavior, and risk telemetry. Thanks to Walrus’ inherent programmability via smart contracts on Sui, DD.xyz will have the ability to interact with data stored on Walrus without limiting user control.

Webacy’s risk engine, DD.xyz (Due Diligence), powers Due Diligence and Decisioning data displayed by partners, DEXs, trading bots, AI agents, and wallets across the blockchain ecosystem. These updates enable token scoring, wallet and financial risk analysis, and smart contract analysis, giving end users confidence in their transactions. While serving as Webacy’s default attestation platform, Walrus will log and verify safety-related events in real time, creating a verifiable record of risk signals, interventions, and interactions.

“As far as decentralized technologies have come, there’s still a lot of risk in interacting onchain,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive at Walrus Foundation. “Walrus was designed to provide robust, verifiable and programmable storage for all blockchain-related activities – but those activities need to be safe for the end user. Webacy solves for that, and we’re proud to support them in DD.xyz’s rollout.”

Maika Isogawa, CEO at Webacy, commented on today’s news, “This partnership with Walrus serves as a key component of Webacy’s core mission to ensure digital assets are safer for everyone. By leveraging Walrus' decentralized data storage, we can ensure that our DD scoring engine offers verifiable risk assessments for users and enterprises alike.”
